This configuration may not be stable with Windows Vista, 98 or ME. For that reason it is recommended to leave the modem configured as a BRIDGE and use a normal PPPoE SETUP.

The following steps must be followed to modify the Dlink 2320B from Bridge to PPPoE Bridge connection.

First you must set the client computer to the following Static IP Configuration:

• IP Address: 192.168.1.2

• Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

• Gateway: 192.168.1.1

• Primary DNS: 192.168.1.1

• Secondary DNS: 192.161.1.1

Once that is completed Open a Browser and follow the steps below:

1. Browse to 192.168.1.1

2. Login to the Modem with Username/Password admin/admin. [SCREENSHOT]

3. In the wizard, on the first screen CLICK NEXT. [SCREENSHOT]

4. Select "PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE)" and CLICK NEXT. [SCREENSHOT]

5. Enter the username and password for the PPPoE Connection (Must include the @value.net realm). [SCREENSHOT]

6. Click Next. [SCREENSHOT]

7. Click Save/Reboot. [SCREENSHOT]

8. The modem will reboot [SCREENSHOT]

9. Click OK on the Reboot Complete Box. [SCREENSHOT]

10. Click the WAN button on the left to view the Configuration. [SCREENSHOT]

11. Delete all other connections showing in this list.

12. Click the Status Tab

13. Click the WAN button on the Left

14. Status should show "ADSL Link UP" and an IP Address.

After this is completed you must remove the static IP address configuration in order to connect the computer to the internet.
